What is Locum’s Nest Intelligence?

Think of it as an organised data forest, where you can owl-ways find what you need. With an extensive library of interactive dashboards, as well as the ability to create bespoke reports (hoot hoot) to suit your needs; report, collaborate and discover like never before. Locum’s Nest Intelligence provides you with:
Executive reports - have peace of mind with all the executive, board and NHSE reports you need.
Financial trends - explore monthly, quarterly and annual trends on bank and agency spending, fill rates, absences and recruitment.
Shift demand - forecast your workforce needs by interrogating your past, current and future shift demand and supply.
Compliance - ensure organisational compliance by understanding patterns around working time, rate escalations and reasons for shift requests.
Data Exporting - a free tool for all
In this article, we will focus on the Exporting Data element of Intelligence, and regardless of what Locum’s Nest products your NHS organisation is or isn’t signed up to, this is completely free of charge. Here, we will go through a variety of data exports available at your disposal and give you an explanation as to why it’s important. Whether you are a new Locum’s Nest user or want a quick refresher, this is for you!
Firstly, log in to your Locum’s Nest web app and head to Intelligence. You can find this on your web app sidebar (second icon down). Once here, head to export data (third icon down) and you will see all report options available.
Report types
Shifts Report - lets you find anything from all a candidate's shifts they have worked to any shifts still pending authorisation. It's perfect for keeping an eye on who’s been working and where.
Applications Report - Are you looking to track how many times a candidate has decided to stay in the nest or take flight? The Applications Report helps you export candidate applications, providing insights on cancellations and pending timesheets. It's essential for understanding your flock’s habits and ensuring smooth operations.
Bids Report - The Bids Report is similar to the Applications Report but focuses on agency bids. It’s an excellent tool for monitoring competitive offers and understanding the marketplace dynamics.
Timesheets Report - Keep your beak on the pulse with the Timesheets Report. This report gathers all the information regarding timesheets, allowing you to check the status of specific candidates' timesheets or ensure there are no outstanding timesheets left unapproved – because every minute counts when managing your team.
Staff Bank Report - The Staff Bank Report is your go-to for a comprehensive overview of your staff bank. Filter by profession to see how many candidates you have perched in your staff bank. This report is perfect for managing and optimising your team, ensuring you have the right talent in your roost.
With our intuitive filtering options you can look for the data you need in no time. You can filter most of our reports by date range, profession, site worked, speciality, grade, cascades and status. These filters ensure you can pinpoint the exact data you need, no matter how detailed your query is.
