Right to erasure

The GDPR introduces a right for individuals to have personal data erased. The right to erasure is also known as ‘the right to be forgotten’.

Locum’s Nest will respond within one month from the date a request was submitted.

Process

There are two ways to request account deletion:

  1. Through the mobile app (user must be logged in to follow this process): The user is required to launch the app and carry out the following steps:

    • go to the Digital Passport tab (4th tab)

    • click on the Settings cog icon (top right corner)

    • click on the Personal Details card

    • click on the Request Account Deletion button

    • confirm action with ‘YES’ and specify reason for requesting account deletion

    • click on the Send button

  2. Via email: The user is required to submit a request via the email account used to register with Locum’s Nest. Upon verification of the source of request, the process will kick off for removing any personal data linked to the individual who raised the request.

Following the completion of the process a notification will be sent to the individual within one month confirming the completion of the process.
